Crocheting Projects

The crochet bug hit me this week.

I'm making small felt valentines with crocheted edging.

And a baby sized giant-granny.
(For my great niece, born just a few days ago.)
I'm using Baby Bee yarn  and a size 6 (G) hook.
The baby shower is next week, so I've got to get crackin'!

Are you working on any projects?

Love your red felt heart with the crocheted edges . . .

Your granny square baby quilt reminds me of my grandmother. She made quilts for each of her many (14, I think) grandchildren . . . and some of the greats!

I have been making clay hearts, knitting dish cloths and baking some fabulously wonderful chocolate chip cookies, (does that count!?)

Oh so cute! I am working on a Granny Square afghan like I used to see everywhere when I was a kid - bright colors, soft yarn, black as the outer round - it is coming along nicely.

I love your Granny Square!
I have got to learn how to make them.
I do know how to scallop-I'll have to try your Valentine heart.

I absolutely love that cute heart. I never would have thought to add a crochet edge-it sure makes it pretty! The baby blanket will be a winner too.

Such pretty projects!
I'm making aprons, crocheting squares for an afghan, and embroidering a runner. There's a quilt in the frames but I'm taking a rest from quilting.

I wish I could crochet! My mom and sister crochet the most wonderful things. I just can't get the hang of it! The baby quilt is going to be adorable! Pictures when it is done?

I just wish I could crochet! Love your heart.
I need to get the binding on my dad's quilt, finish us a baby quilt for the long arm quilter, and get going on some Valentine cards!
I like winter because I can work on projects and not feel too guilty...lol!

So pretty! My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was in elementary school. I have forgotten how. I would love to pick it up again.

Right now I am washi taping everything in sight. I am edging my girls book cases with it right now. :)

How charming! I know how to knit a very basic knit stitch in a straight line so I can make a scarf, but nothing fancy. Did not grow up with grandmother or mom to teach me. How wonderful to have this skill~ Have a great Valentine's Day. The paper dolls are sweet <3
